Called to the Manx bar 1991
Judy trained as a Manx advocate with the island’s Attorney General and after being called to the Manx bar moved to private practice dealing initially with family and criminal law involving extensive court work. She later gained experience in all areas of private client work and became a partner in one of the island’s larger practices.
Since setting up on her own in Port St Mary in 1993, she has built up a busy conveyancing and probate practice. She also continues to specialise in family law and her court work now involves mainly family law but also land disputes, possession proceedings, licensing and Chancery Court matters relating to probate and estates, land issues, mental health receiverships and registration of enduring powers of attorney. She is a Commissioner for Oaths and a Notary Public.

Jan joined the practice in 1996. She qualified as a Fellow of The Institute of Legal Executives in 2002 and was awarded the Institute's Diploma in Probate & Succession in 2002 and the Institute's Level 4 Higher Professional Diploma in Law (Family Law) in 2005.
Jan deals mainly with probate and estates, including obtaining Manx probate for persons resident outside the jurisdiction with estates in the Isle of Man. Always bright and helpful, she deals with matters promptly and efficiently. She has worked with Judy for nearly 13 years during which time she has gained wide experience.

Jane joined the practice in September 2002 as a change of career from the aviation industry. Over the last 7 years she has undertaken professional secretarial qualifications and has also trained as a search clerk. Jane's calm, understanding and efficient manner immediately puts clients at ease and she always ensures that matters are dealt with smoothly and promptly.
Jill is an experienced conveyancer, she joined the practice in May 2008. She is always bright and cheerful, and it is immediately evident that she enjoys her work. Whilst ensuring that matters are dealt with thoroughly and efficiently, she is always sympathetic to clients' concerns. Jill's qualifications include an RSA Diploma and OCR Level 2 in Administration.
